Dear Members and Supporters

Due to the unprecedented situation we are still not able to hold any meetings or gatherings under the present restrictions.
The annual general meeting will soon be upon us and I would like to highlight a few changes that require some consideration.
Even though there is very little signs of shows being able to be held in the near future I have been informed by the Selston parish hall that changes have been made to the catering facilities since we held our last event there.
The kitchen that we normally use is no longer available and has been replaced with a much smaller facility in an area that we use as the office.  The limited space will no longer allow us to cook and prepare meals like we have previously provided to the members and visitors. In addition we have lost two of our three kitchen staff.
I feel this is not an ideal situation and remains a lot of work for one person to do.
Once we have the go ahead from the authorities to hold an event I will secure the judges accordingly.

If anyone has any comments I would appreciate them, your club needs your support.

Dear Fanciers

As you will be aware, under currant covid restrictions, we can not hold our A. G. M. on March the 4th.

All officers will stand as of the last years A G M, and copies of the audited accounts will be available on request from either the Treasurer or the Secretary. 

Hopefully, if Boris 's road map works out, we should be able to meet in July to discuss the next steps owing to the fact that a refurbishment has been done on the parish hall. So until the committee is able to view we can not consider the viability of the future .

It is with much sadness that we have to report the passing of
       Cyril Thorpe.   ( Better known as Cyd )

Who passed away quietly on February 11th from natural courses having been in a nursing home for the last few months.

A staunch Selston poultry fancier for many years,  having previously been associated with Belper  poultry club and a committee member for Bakewell show poultry section.
He would always travel to the Scottish national as well many other major and local shows
He will be sadly miss by all in the Fancy,  and our sincere condolences are sent to Pauline..

  Our meetings are held on the first Thursday of every month, except July and August starting at 8.00pm at JACKSDALE MINERS WELFARE.
